Saint Dismas,

you were directly canonised by Christ Himself

and were assured a place in Heaven

because of your sincere confession of your sins

and true sorrow for them.

Your love and repentance opened the

Sacred Heart of Jesus in Mercy and Love.

You were close to Jesus in His last agony and

you are now close to Him in Heaven.

Pray for me that I shall never again desert Him

but that at the close of my life I may hear the words

He addressed to you:

"Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise".
